I don't like the idea that they want to tell me i have to have insurance. It should be my choice.

There's that and there also seems to be a shellgame with the "doctors fix" money that makes you suspicious of any other hidden costs.

It also kills private insurance companies within 5 years of being signed, that comes from the speed reader that Neil Colvoto has on ever now and then.

That's not really a bad thing. The problem isn't with health care, its with the insurance industry. Our government has left them get to big and to powerful. Health insurance should be structured more like car insurance. It doesn't pay for tune ups or oil changes but when you have a big problem its there for you and that's why its much more affordable. I also don't have a problem paying more for coverage because of past problems with my health but i have a real problem being told I'm ineligible because of pre existing conditions. It would be a lot easier to except some of these rules if they weren't making billions while we as a public are going bankrupt at an alarming rate mostly because of health care cost"s

Now you look at the way UPMC is set up and tell me it is all for the insurance company it isn't, it is also for the hospitals.  Because most Doctors in todays world can do anything short of major surgery in their own offices, it is giving hospitals a bit of a worry so they have stuck their hands in it as well.

It is the system around the healthcare providers that is the problem a system the government has shoved it's own hand into deeply.  We Get the government out of it, allow all insurance companies to work in all 50 states and the free market compitition will win out and the Best value doctors will have lines around the corner and the idiot Doctors will be looking for new jobs.
