The supporters of the decision would be funny if it were not such a serious matter.
They say it will show the world that we are fair, even to the bad guys, so it will win hearts & minds.
BS! Unless he is acquitted, they will not believe our system is fair. They already don't think it is anyway, or they wouldn't be trying to destroy us.
These same people also preface their remarks with the like of  " everyone knows no matter what, KSM will never see the light of day, he will be held for the rest of his life regardless" and " chances of acquittal or either very small, or even xome say non-existant"

What a bunch of conflicting statements. If our system is fair, then acquittal certainly is possible. Who knows, maybe due to prosecutorial error, could happen.

Now, if he is acquitted, and if as they say, he gets held anyway, what is the rest of the world going to think about our fairness then-- if he gets acquitted, just what grounds are we going to hold him on?

This KSM decision is imho going to be Obama's biggest nightamre, if not  his undoing.

Great summarization.  That's where I was going when I posted on this subject earlier.  If there is a predetermined fate fairness is gone, so to move the venue does nothing to ensure a fair trial.  To place a jury trial anywhere in the US, against those who attacked the US, is just plain assinine.  There is another reason for this action and it's purely political.

They all plead guilty when they thought they would get to be put to death and die Marytars, now they will all enter a not guilty plea in Civilian Court.  If this doesn't make Obama a laughing stock of the world (for all nations try war criminals in a war criminals court, not civilian.) I don't know what else he can do that would help him be the worlds azz clown.  Oh yeah and he will blame Holder even though Holder does not have the power to move prisoners of war only the Exec can do that.  Obama and his social justice at work again.
