The O'Reilly show yesterday, you can see it surely at BillO'Reilly.com   I think is his web site.

THanks. Now I'm going to have to take a step back and re-think.
I gleaned his original sentence was 60 some years, Huck commutted it to 47, which did not release him, but made him parole eligible. The parole board along with help from a judge's recommendation later released him on parole. But, he went on to committ more crimes and was incarcerated after that parole and long before these police slayings. Then, of course, to present, two Washington State Judges released him on $15,000 bond ( could be $1,500.00 or even less to a bondsman) despite being recently charged with assaulting a police officer and raping a child.

I still think Huckabee's way too lenient minded toward criminals, given his record of commutations, pardons, etc., but I can't lay this tragedy at his doorstep.

There is no "series of failures" to blame here, it was he, Mike Huckabee, who let this man out from a 95 year prison sentence, no one else did it.

huck is the Republican version of Jimmy Carter.

You also have to remember that Huck is a firm supporter of the NRA, so maybe he be thinking we should just shoot some of these people and save the states millions in criminal trials and jail time.   Grin
