At this point no one knows what is in the bill. So much has been added and subtracted that IF it becomes law it will be unworkable or at best ineffective.

But, hey they will be able to say we did it which is more important to them than to do it right.

It is a shame that the best thing that can happen to a piece of legislation is to have it die.

So you thought this all through.  You realize that they will tell doctors where to live and who to treat.  Yes this will put private insurance out of business completely and we will all be on the mercy of the government plan.  That will lead to failure to treat the old in favor of the young, just like it has in all the other countries that have universial government funded health car.  They are going to do all this and then they aren't even going to cover everyone so those left out will be fined or jailed for lack of having healthcare.  Yes I can see everyone has thought this out so thourghly, NOT!  NOt you or the government elected that are going to shove this junk down our throats.  How much do you want to bet that when all the private insurance companies go under the government employees will retain the best healthcare in the system, the old in congress will get treated, but the old civilians will not.  I guess if you are going to dream you have to dream big, because if you dream with realality you would see this is gonna break the bank.

Yes well I see we are rushing out of Iraq aren't we?  It was doing nothing that go us here.  I do believe there are many less expensive things we can try before we throw the entire GDP into healthcare, for in the end if we treat everyone and save everyone that is what it will cost us.   First they should let all private insurance companies sell in all 50 states, competion does create lower cost but the government isn't in this for competition it is in it for the control over the people.   I could see if they actually meant they were giving healthcare to all but they aren't, and they never will to expensive.  So I guess we kill off all your old family members first are you willing to volunteer them to die, all over the age of 60 for we all know the old are worthless for anything.  Their knowledge is old school (according to Al Gore) so they don't count anymore.  How about you willing to volunteer yourself to be the first on government run healthcare?
